Avaliação do efeito da aplicação de diferentes lâminas de irrigação no desenvolvimento vegetativo do cafeeiro para a região do Cerrado de Minas Gerais

Abstract

Nos últimos anos, tem-se observado uma grande expansão das fronteiras cafeeiras no Brasil, assim tem-se tornado necessário o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias que venham proporcionar maior produtividade. O trabalho foi realizado na cidade de Patrocínio MG, latitude 18o 56’ S, longitude 46o 59’ W e altitude média de 965 m,na Fazenda Experimental da EPAMIG. Em solos do cerrado de Minas, região na qual se encontram maiores áreas de café irrigado, não existem trabalhos avaliando os efeitos das variações de lâminas de irrigação para a cultura do cafeeiro, por este motivo o presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral estudar os efeitos da irrigação sobre o desenvolvimento fisiológico do cafeeiro, nas condições edafoclimáticas da cidade de Patrocínio-MG. Os resultados de dois anos de acompanhamento experimental relacionado à aplicação de água e nutrientes permitem as seguintes conclusões. Quanto ao parâmetro altura de planta o tratamento T1, não irrigado o crescimento em altura foi inferior a todos os outros tratamentos, sendo que T2 e T3 cresceram em média 15% a mais que T1 , e T4, T5, T6 e T7 tiveram um crescimento médio 20% maior que T1, e 9% que T2 e T3 para os dois anos estudados. O parâmetro diâmetro de copa apresentou resultados semelhantes aos de altura de planta, com tratamento T1, não irrigado com valor inferior a todos os outros tratamentos, sendo que T2 e T3 cresceram em média 4% a mais que T1 , e T4, T5, T6 e T7 tiveram um crescimento médio 8% maior que T1, e 4% que T2 e T3 para os dois anos estudados. Quanto ao número de entre-nós emitidos, foi observado diferença apenas para o ano safra 2002/2003, onde os T1 mostrou-se inferior a todos os outros tratamentos, sendo a emissão de entre-nós 30 % menor que a todos os outros, já T2 também mostrou-se inferior com um emissão de entre-nós 13% menor que os outros tratamentos, não foi observado diferença entre o crescimento de entre-nós para T3, T4, T5, T6 e T7.

In the last years, a great expansion of the coffee borders has been observing in Brazil, like this she have been turning necessary the development of new technologies that you/they come to provide larger productivity. The work was accomplished in Patrocínio MG, latitude 18o 56' S, longitude 46o 59' W and medium altitude of 965 m, na Experimental Farm of EPAMIG. In soils of the "Cerrado" of Minas, area in the which you/they are larger areas of irrigated coffee, works don't exist evaluating the effects of the variations of irrigation sheets for the culture of the coffee plant, for this reason the present work had as general objective to study the effects of the irrigation on the physiologic development of the coffee plant, in the climatic conditions of the Patrocínio-MG. The two year-old results related to the application of water and nutrients allow the following conclusions. As for the parameter plant height the treatment T1, no irrigated the growth in height was inferior the all the other treatments, and T2 and T3 increased 15% on average the more than T1, and T4, T5, T6 and T7 had a medium growth 20% larger than T1, and 9% that T2 and T3 for the two studied years. The parameter cup diameter presented results similar to the of plant height, with treatment T1, no irrigated with inferior value the all the other treatments, and T2 and T3 increased 4% on average the more than T1, and T4, T5, T6 and T7 had a medium growth 8% larger than T1, and 4% that T2 and T3 for the two studied years. As for the number of he/she enters us emitted, it was observed differentiates just for the year harvest 2002/2003, where T1 was shown inferior the all the other treatments, being the emission of he/she enters in the smaller 30% than the all the other ones, already T2 was also shown inferior with an emission of he/she enters in the smaller 13% than the other treatments, difference was not observed among the growth of he/she enters us for T3, T4, T5, T6 and T7.
