APLICAÇÃO DE EXTRATO ETANÓLICO DE PRÓPOLIS (EEP) SOBRE O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE MUDAS DE CAFEEIRO EM ROLIM DE MOURA – RO

Abstract

Objetivou-se neste trabalho, avaliar o efeito do extrato etanólico de própolis (EEP) sobre o desenvolvimento da parte aérea de mudas de cafeeiro cv. Catuaí vermelho. O delineamento utilizado foi em blocos casualizados com cinco repetições e dez plantas/parcela. O esquema experimental foi em fatorial 4 x 5. O primeiro fator foram quatro extratos etanólico de própolis, com diferentes porcentagens de própolis bruta na composição (1, 4, 7 e 10% de própolis bruta e o restante com etanol a 92%). O segundo fator foi as diluições dos EEPs, 0; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5; 2,0 e 2,5% em água. Foi avaliada a área foliar expandida, que nada mais foi do que a subtração da área foliar avaliada no início do experimento, quando nenhum tratamento havia sido aplicado, da área foliar ao final do experimento. A área foliar expandida teve crescimento linear com a aplicação do EEP apenas no extrato com 4% de própolis bruta. A massa seca das raízes, parte aérea e massa seca total tiveram seus valores aumentados com as aplicações do EEP, sendo este efeito atribuído a presença de algum nutriente e ao possível controle de fungos foliares, como a antracnose.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of ethanol extract of propolis (EEP) on the development of shoots of cv. Catuaí red. The design was randomized blocks with five replications and ten plants each. The experiment was a factorial scheme 4 x 5. The first factor consisted of four ethanolic extracts of propolis, with different percentages in the composition of raw propolis (1, 4, 7 and 10% of raw propolis with ethanol and the remaining 92%). The second factor was the dilution of the EEP, 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5% in water. We evaluated the expanded leaf area, which was nothing more than the subtraction of the leaf area measured at the beginning of the experiment, while no treatment was applied, leaf area at the end of the experiment. Leaf area was expanded linear growth with the implementation of the EEP with only 4% in the extract of raw propolis. The dry mass of roots, shoots and total dry mass had their values increased with the applications of EEP, and this effect was attributed to the presence of some nutrient and possible control of leaf fungi such as anthracnose.
