AVALIAÇÃO DO CRESCIMENTO DE CAFEZAIS EM CONSÓRCIO COM Crotalária juncea NO ESTADO DO ESPÍRITO SANTO

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o crescimento do café arábica cultivado em consórcio com a crotalária, em função de cinco épocas de corte da leguminosa. O experimento foi conduzido na Fazenda Experimental de Venda Nova, em Venda Nova do Imigrante, ES, com altitude de 740 m, no delineamento em blocos casualizados com quatro repetições. O plantio do café ocorreu em 06/11/2008 no espaçamento de 2,0 x 0,8 m, sendo utilizada a variedade Catiguá no consórcio com a crotalária (Crotalaria juncea). A semeadura da leguminosa foi realizada em 10/09/2009, antes do início das chuvas, visando à máxima antecipação do consórcio. As épocas de corte das leguminosas foram contadas a partir da primeira chuva ocorrida em 20/09/2009. Foram coletados a partir do ramo marcado em 12/11/2009, o comprimento do ramo, o número de nós e o número de folhas em duas épocas, 12/01/10 e 09/04/10. Não houve variação das características comprimento do ramo marcado, número de nós e número de folhas em função das épocas de corte da leguminosa.

The present work had as objective evaluates the growth of the Arabic coffee cultivated in consortium with the sunn hemp (Crotalaria juncea), in function of five times of cut of the legume. The experiment was accomplished in Experimental Station of Venda Nova, in Venda Nova do Imigrante, ES, with altitude of 740 m, in the randomized complete blocks design with four replicates . The planting of the coffee happened in 06/11/2008 in the spacing of 2,0 x 0,8 m, being used the variety Catiguá in the consortium with the sunn hemp. The sowing of the legume was accomplished in 10/09/2009, before the beginning of the rains, seeking to the maxim anticipation of the consortium. The times of cut of the legumes were counted starting from the first rain happened in 20/09/2009. They were collected starting from the branch marked in 12/11/2009, the length of the branch, the number of us and the number of leaves in two times, 12/01/10 and 09/04/10. There were not variation of the characteristics length of the marked branch, number of us and number of leaves in function of the times of cut of the legume.
