CRESCIMENTO DE MUDAS DE CAFÉ SOB MALHAS COLORIDAS

Abstract

Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o crescimento de mudas de cafés cultivadas sob malhas com diferentes qualidades espectrais. Mudas de Catucaí Amarelo 2SL, no estádio “orelhas de onça”, foram dispostas em blocos ao acaso com cinco repetições, sob estruturas cobertas individualmente com malhas ChromatiNET nas cores azul, branca, cinza, preta e vermelha com um sombreamento de 50%. Quatro meses depois, foi avaliado o crescimento das mudas pela altura das plantas, massa seca, área foliar e razão de área foliar. A malha vermelha foi a que mais se destacou na produção de mudas com maior vigor, principalmente com maior área foliar e massa seca total.

This study aimed to evaluate the growth of coffee seedlings grown under colored nets with different spectral qualities. Seedlings of Catucaí Amarelo 2SL on the stage commonly known as “orelha de onça” were arranged in random blocks with five replicates, under structures covered individually with blue, white, gray, black or red nets with 50% of shading. After four months, the plant growth was evaluated by the height of the plants, dry weight, leaf area and leaf area ratio. The red net detached by producing vigorous seedlings, mainly with high leaf area and total dry weight.
