Um estudo sobre influência inovação da inovação da organizacional sobre o desempenho operacional na indústria do café

Resumo
O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar se o construto inovação organizacional influencia, de maneira positiva, o desempenho operacional na indústria do café sob o ponto de vista dos gestores. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa descritiva de natureza quantitativa com 86 gestores que atuam na indústria do café. Os dados coletados, tratados pela modelagem em equações estruturais, apontaram relação válida entre os constructos inovação organizacional e desempenho operacional. Com base nos resultados obtidos, pode-se verificar que existe relação positiva entre inovação e desempenho operacional, ou seja, a prática de ações ligadas à inovação organizacional tem influência positiva sobre o desempenho operacional na indústria do café. A inovação contribui para a organização ultrapassar as dificuldades de um cenário econômico desfavorável e alcançar o desempenho operacional superior. Por fim, esta investigação buscou contribuir para alargar o conhecimento sobre a indústria do café e encontrar subsídios, no ambiente corporativo, para que se possa compreender os possíveis impactos da inovação sobre o desempenho operacional na indústria cafeicultora.
The objective of this study was to determine whether the organizational innovation construct influences, in a positive way, the operating performance of the coffee industry from the managers’ point of view. To this end, we conducted a descriptive quantitative research with 86 managers working in the coffee industry. The data collected, treated by structural equation modeling, indicated a valid relation between the constructs’ organizational innovation and the operational performance. Based on these results, we determined that there is a positive relation between innovation and operational performance. In other words, the practice of actions related to organizational innovation has positive influence over the operating performance in the coffee industry. Innovation contributes in order for the organization to overcome the difficulties of an unfavorable economic environment and achieve superior operational performance. Finally, this study aimed at contributing to expand the knowledge concerning the coffee industry and to achieve grants in the corporate environment, to understand the possible impacts of innovation over operating performance in the coffee industry.
