A qualidade de bebida do café é depende de diversos fatores entre eles a adubação. O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de doses crescentes de P2O5 na qualidade da bebida do café. O experimento foi implantado no Sítio Cachoeira, localizado no Município de Monte Belo, Minas Gerais, em agosto de 2007 numa área cultivada com a variedade Rubi MG-1192 com seis anos de idade, 2778 plantas ha-1, dispostas no espaçamento 3,0 m x 1,20 m num Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi em blocos ao acaso, com quatro blocos e sete tratamentos: 0, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 kg ha-1 de P2O5. A análise sensorial foi feita por provador treinado, utilizou-se a metodologia BSCA, avaliando os seguintes atributos: bebida limpa, doçura, acidez, corpo, sabor, gosto remanescente, balanço ou equilíbrio e nota geral. Os resultados foram significativos a 5% de probabilidade pelo teste Tukey para gosto remanescente, nota geral e nota final. O tratamento de 100 kg ha-1 apresentou notas inferiores nos atributos: nota geral e nota final, em relação aos outros tratamentos.
The quality of coffee beverage is dependent on several factors including fertilization. The study aimed to evaluate the effect of different doses of P2O5 in the quality of coffee beverage. The experiment was established on Waterfall ranch, located in the city of Monte Belo, in the state of Minas Gerais, in august 2007 in a cultivated area with the variety Rubi MG-1192 with six years of age, with 2778 plants ha-1, all arranged in a space range of 3.0 meters 1.20 meters in a Red Latossol distroferic. The experimental design was randomized in blocks consisting of seven treatments: 0, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 kg P2O5 ha-1 and four replications. Sensory analysis was performed by trained assessor, we used the methodology BSCA, evaluating the following attributes: clean drink, sweetness, acidity, body, flavor, aftertaste, balance, or balance and overall score. The results were significant at 5% probability by Tukey test for aftertaste, overall score and final grade. The treatment of 100 kg ha-1 had a lower quality of the beverage in the other treatments.
