Tolerância diferencial de onze variedades de cafeeiros (Coffea arabica L.) à deficiência de zinco.

O café é uma cultura exigente em micronutrientes, principalmente em zinco, e cultivares mais produtivas requerem uma maior disponibilidade de nutrientes. O intuito deste trabalho foi avaliar onze variedades de Coffea arabica L em relação à tolerância diferencial à deficiência de zinco. As variedades avaliadas foram: Acaiá Cerrado (MG-1474), Catuaí Amarelo (IAC-62), Catuaí Vermelho (785-15), IPR-102, Oeiras (MG-6851), Paraíso (MGH 419-1), Rubi (MG-1192), Sam Ramon, São Bernardo, Topázio (MG-1190) e Tupi (IAC 1669-33). As mudas foram cultivadas em vasos de oito litros, com solução nutritiva de Clark modificada, para obtenção das concentrações de 0,0 e 6,0 µmol L-1 de zinco. O experimento constituiu-se de um fatorial 11 x 2 x 3 (11 variedades, duas concentrações de zinco e três repetições), em delineamento inteiramente casualizado. A solução foi aerada, o pH ajustado a 5,0 ± 0,5 e a troca da solução nutritiva realizada mediante o critério de 30% de depleção da CE inicial. Ao final do experimento avaliaram-se massa seca; diâmetro do caule; altura do coleto ao ápice; número de folhas; número de ramos plagiotrópicos; índice SPAD; área foliar. O material vegetal foi lavado e seco em estufa a 70°C. Os dados obtidos foram submetidos à análise de variância e teste F, e as médias comparadas pelo teste de Duncan, a 5% de probabilidade. As variedades Acaiá Cerrado, Oeiras e Rubi foram às menos sensíveis a omissão de Zn, e as variedades Catuaí Amarelo e Paraíso as mais sensíveis para MSFA. Rubi foi a menos sensível a omissão de Zn e as variedades IPR-102 e Oeiras as mais sensíveis para MSFI. Para MSCAU a variedade Rubi foi a menos sensível a omissão de Zn e a Catuaí Vermelho a mais sensível. Rubi e San Ramon foram as que apresentaram maior SPADFA, portanto menor sensibilidade à omissão de Zn, e a variedade Catuaí Amarelo a que apresentou menor SPADFA indicando maior sensibilidade.

The intention of this work was to evaluate eleven varieties of Arabic Coffea L in relation to the differential tolerance to the deficiency of zinc. The appraised varieties were: Acaiá Cerrado (MG-1474), Catuaí Amarelo (IAC-62), Catuaí Vermelho (785-15), IPR-102, Oeiras (MG-6851), Paraíso (MGH 419-1), Rubi (MG-1192), Sam Ramon, São Bernardo, Topázio (MG-1190) and Tupi (IAC 1669-33). The seedlings were cultivated in vases of eight liters, with nutritious solution of modified Clark, for obtaining of the concentrations of 0,0 and 6,0 µmol L-1 of zinc. The experiment was constituted of a factorial 11 x 2 x 3 (11 varieties, two concentrations of zinc and three repetitions), in delineamento entirely casualizado. The solution was aerada, the adjusted pH to 5,0 ( 0,5 and the change of the nutritious solution accomplished by the criterion of 30% of depletion of initial CE. At the end of the experiment they were evaluated mass dries; diameter of the stem; height of the I collect to the apex; number of leaves; number of branches plagiotrópicos; index SPAD; foliar area. The vegetable material was washed and dry in greenhouse to 70°C. The obtained data were submitted to the variance analysis and test F, and the averages compared by the test of Duncan, to 5% of probability.
