Brown-eye spot of coffee, caused for Cercospora coffeicola, is one of the diseases with major importance to coffee plantations, affecting both plantlets and adult trees. The objective of the present study was to assess the effect of coffee peel extract (CPE 200, 150, 100, 50 and 10 g.L-1) and thyme oil (TEO 2000, 1000, 500, 250 and 125 ppm) in the control of coffee brown-eye spot. Any differences between the CPE doses of 50, 100, 150 and 200 g.L-1 and within all doses of TEO were observed in the greenhouse trials. The CPE dose of 150 g.L-1 and the TEO dose of 500 ppm presented better control of brown-eye spot, with 28,1% and 20% severity, respectively, in comparison with control treatment.
