Brazil stands out as world's largest coffee producer and, indeed of great socio-economic importance for the country and despite the cultural practices and treatment are already well established, many aspects of culture still need clarification, stands out among them the phosphorus nutrition of coffee-tree. The experiment was conducted in a Latosoil Red Eutrophic in the period from September 2007 to October 2008, City of Guaxupé (MG), with the objective to assess the influence of the dosing strengths and a source of P2O5 in relation to the levels and concentrations of calcium and magnesium , Leaves and soil. The variety used was the Mundo Novo IAC 379-19, 4 x 1.5 m spacing, with 44 years, newly cut down, keeping 4 to 5 shoots per hole. The experimental marking out was a casually block with eight treatments and four repetitions. The experimental plots were consisted for 6 plants, for testing the 4 central plants. The treatments used varied with the dose and source of P2O5 in Kg ha-1, where: 0; 53,3; 106,5; 213,0; 426,0; 852,0; 1704,0 of thermophosphate and 400,0 of single superphosphate. In these experimental conditions the results showed that the single superphosphate is the largest solubility and as results in less time in relation at thermophosphate; the calcium and magnesium showed low mobility in soil, with greater concentration in the layer of 0 -10 cm; with increasing dosing of thermophosphate that contains calcium and magnesium in its formulation it was found increasing concentration in the soil.
