AVALIAÇÃO DAS CARACTERÍSTICAS DE PRODUÇÃO DE DIFERENTES LINHAGENS DE MUNDO NOVO IRRIGADAS, EM UBERLÂNDIA-MG

Abstract

O café é uma das principais culturas agrícolas de Minas Gerais, sendo responsável por boa parte da receita do Estado, o qual é o maior produtor dessa rubiácea. Nesse sentido, trabalhos visando avaliar o comportamento produtivo de cultivares de café são de grande importância para a cafeicultura. Diante disso, foi realizado este trabalho objetivando avaliar a produtividade, o rendimento e a renda de cultivares/linhagens de Mundo Novo em duas safras consecutivas, na região de Uberlândia-MG. As plantas foram cultivadas na Fazenda Experimental do Glória, pertencente à Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, no espaçamento 3,5 m entre linhas de plantio e 0,7 m entre plantas na linha. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados com três repetições. Os tratamentos constituíram-se de vinte e três linhagens de Mundo Novo: LCP 382-7; CP 471-11; LH 2897; LCP 447; CP 387-14-11; CP 502-9; LCP 403-1; LH 2931; CP 515-8; CP 501-12; LCP 475; LCP 379-19; LCMP 376-14; CP 500-11; CP 464-15; LCP 480; P3 S/I SJR; LCP 379-19-2; LCP 376-4; LCP 376-4-30; CP 500; CP 501; CP 502 e; uma cultivar/linhagem de Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474 (testemunha). Os resultados encontrados mostraram que as linhagens LCP 376-4-30 e CP 501- 12 destacaram-se quanto à produtividade, apesar de não diferirem estatisticamente em relação a alguns outros materiais desta cultivar; com relação ao rendimento, a linhagem LCP 382-7 apresentou o menor valor, porém não diferindo estatisticamente de algumas outras linhagens de Mundo Novo; a cultivar/linhagem Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474 apresentou produtividade e rendimento equivalente aos piores materiais de Mundo Novo; não houve diferença entre as cultivares/linhagens para a característica renda.

Coffee is one of the major agricultural crops in the state of Minas Gerais, responsible for a significant part of the State’s income. Therefore, studies evaluating the yield performance of coffee cultivars are of utmost importance for the crop. Thus, this study evaluated yield, profit and recovery of Mundo Novo cultivars/lines at two consecutive crops, in Uberlândia-MG. The plants were grown at the Glória Experimental Farm, of Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, in a spacing of 3.5 m between rows and 0.7 m between plants. The experimental design was randomized blocks with three repetitions. Treatments consisted of twenty three lines of Mundo Novo: LCP 382-7; CP 471-11; LH 2897; LCP 447; CP 387-14-11; CP 502-9; LCP 403-1; LH 2931; CP 515-8; CP 501-12; LCP 475; LCP 379-19; LCMP 376-14; CP 500-11; CP 464-15; LCP 480; P3 S/I SJR; LCP 379-19-2; LCP 376-4; LCP 376-4-30; CP 500; CP 501 and CP 502; and one cultivar/line of Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474 (control). The results show that lines LCP 376-4-30 and CP 501-12 had better yield, although not significantly different from some of the other materials of this cultivar; line LCP 382-7 had the lowest profit, despite statistically similar to some other lines of Mundo Novo; cultivar/line Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474 had yield and profit equal to the worst materials of Mundo Novo; no differences were found among the cultivars/lines for the variable recovery.
