AVALIAÇÃO DAS CARACTERÍSTICAS DE PRODUÇÃO DE DIFERENTES LINHAGENS DE CAFEEIROS (Coffea arabica L.) IRRIGADOS, EM UBERLÂNDIA-MG

Abstract

O sucesso da cafeicultura está, em parte, na escolha do cultivar/linhagem de café a ser cultivado. Nesse sentido, trabalhos que avaliam o comportamento de cultivares/linhagens em um determinado ambiente são importantes. Diante disso, foi realizado este trabalho objetivando avaliar a produtividade, o rendimento e a renda de cultivares/ linhagens de cafeeiros cultivados com irrigação em duas safras consecutivas, na região de Uberlândia-MG. As plantas foram cultivadas na Fazenda Experimental do Glória, pertencente à Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, no espaçamento 3,5 m entre linhas de plantio e 0,7 m entre plantas na linha. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados com três repetições. Os tratamentos constituíram-se de dezesseis cultivares/ linhagens dos seguintes cafeeiros: Catuaí Amarelo IAC 62, Topázio 1190-2-7-3, Mundo Novo IAC 379-19, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 99, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 15, Acaiá Cerrado 1474, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 144, Topázio 1190-11-16-3, Rubi 1192, Topázio 1190- 11-17-4, Topázio 1190-11-128-4, Topázio 1190-11-128-2, Topázio 1190-11-70-1, Topázio 1190-11-70-2, Topázio 1190-11-70-4 e Topázio 1190-11-119-1. Os resultados encontrados evidenciaram que não houve diferença entre as cultivares/linhagens avaliadas.

The success of the coffee growing is, in part, in the choice of cultivar/lineage of coffee to be cultivated. In this sense, works that value the behavior of you cultivars/lineages in a determined environment are important. Before that, this work was carried out aiming to value the yield, the profit and the recovery of cultivars/lineages of coffee plants cultivated with irrigation in two consecutive harvests, in the region of Uberlândia-MG. The plants were cultivated in the Experimental Farm of Glória pertaining to the Federal University of Uberlândia, in the spacing 3,5 m between lines of planting and 0,7 m between plants in the line. The used experimental delineation was it of randomized blocks with three repetitions. The treatments were of sixteen cultivars/lineages of the next coffee plants: Catuaí Amarelo IAC 62, Topázio 1190-2-7-3, Mundo Novo IAC 379-19, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 99, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 15, Acaiá Cerrado 1474, Catuaí Vermelho IAC 144, Topázio 1190-11-16-3, Rubi 1192, Topázio 1190-11-17-4, Topázio 1190-11-128-4, Topázio 1190-11-128-2, Topázio 1190-11-70-1, Topázio 1190-11-70-2, Topázio 1190-11-70-4 and Topázio 1190-11-119-1. The considered results showed up that there was no difference between them cultivars/lineages evaluated.
