Resumo
Racemosa coffee seeds were kept for five months soon after harvesting at different temperature and humidity conditions in order to study the effect of these factors on their germinating capacity. It was observed that the racemosa seed retained a germination capacity of 82% at 10°C temperature and 5093⁄4 of relative humidity. Seeds maintained during that time at laboratory conditions showed a germination capacity of only ten per cent.
